The Vacuum Principle
When you practice the Vacuum Principle, you evaluate what you have, which might be anything from an old tie to a television set. You ask: Do I really need this? Do I enjoy and take pleasure from it? If the answer is no, get rid of it: Give it away, sell it, or throw it out. Do so consciously, deliberately, in the faith and confidence that that you are creating an empty space in your life into which, even if you can not imagine how at the moment, will flow the new, the more desirable, and the more pleasing.
